My most complicated plots to work, due to the nature of the soil. Either too hard to plough or too wet to pass the machines. The right moment is often played out over a few hours. It’s still a headache, but well woth it. This wine is for me a wine of “friends”, of sharing and conviviality.

Bourgogne Pinot Noir
Wine mainly from my largest plot. More than 12,000 vine stocks in a line in the rows. At pruning time, it is always with great motivation that I enter the vineyard. But it is above all a feeling of satisfaction (and exhaustion) that dominates when I prune my last vine stock a few weeks later.

Aux lavières
My favorite vineyard due to its small size (only 7 ares) and its small production of 450 bottles in good years. Everything is precision to make this micro cuvée a success. A real challenge with each winemaking.

Vosne-Romanée
Appellation produced on small plots scattered throughout the village of Vosne-Romanée : 23 ares at «La Colombière», 28 ares «aux Raviolles», 9 ares «aux ormes», etc. It is always a pleasure to navigate between its village vines to carry out the viticultural work.This appellation is synonymous with roundness, softness and finesse. No extravagance, just a nectar with subtle and delicate tannins.

Aux boudots
Plot that does not lack spice. The main difficulty on this vine is the presence of omnipresent brambles from one year to the next. We spend our time removing them with a pickaxe in the spring without succeeding in eradicating them. Be careful not to forget your gloves ! Just like the vine, this wine has a marked character : the structure is powerful, slightly tannic with a sweet and complex aroma. A real iron fist in a velvet glove.

It offers a magnificient panorama over the village of Vosne-Romanée, and sometimes a remarkable view of Mont Blanc. Due to the proximity of the vines of the climates of Vosne-Romanée, the wine produced is one of the most delicate of the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation.
